Two planes mysteriously missing at an airport in Nigeria

Two airplanes, formerly used by Topbrass Aviation Services Limited, have allegedly been stolen from where they had been kept. The aircrafts, both Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 models, are the subject of court case in Nigeria.

According to the report sighted on Guardian.ng, the planes have registration numbers 5N-TBB and 5N-TBC.

Seagold Investment Limited and Topbrass Aviation Services were mentioned as the two parties who were in a legal battle over the crafts.

It is also reported that certain individuals from the Nigerian presidency had paid for the planes even when a court had advised against buying them.

The report also mentioned the fact that the planes cannot be found at where they are kept in the General Aviation Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos.

It is however believed that similar planes have been kept in another location but with their registration numbers wiped off. This has raised suspicion and put up another twist to the already complex story.

In an expected reaction, social media responded with shock and jokes

In a related development, an official of an airline company has rubbished the fears that the planes were stolen. According to Captain Ado Sanusi, stealing a plane is almost impossible and thus one could only suggest the planes have been misplaced.
