Nigerian musician praises Ghana airport

Rarely would you hear Nigerians praising Ghana, as both West African countries enjoy bantering and pulling each other’s legs.

However, in a rather surprising move, a group of Nigerians have showered praises on Ghana following the opening of the Terminal 3 of the Kotoka International Airport.

The ultra-modern terminal was finally opened for operation on September 15, 2018 following the completion of tests and simulation exercises.

The Terminal 3 has five levels spread across an area of 48,268m² and semi-closed areas for the Baggage Make-up Areas of 28,260m².

It also boasts ultra-modern facilities and capacity to handle 5 million passengers a year, as well as six boarding bridges and 7 links.

These and more appear to have caught the eyes of some Nigerians who used the facility recently.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, a group of Nigerians couldn’t get enough of the new terminal, confessing that none in Nigeria comes close to the one at the Kotoko International Airport.

Nigerian gospel act, Ebenezer Benjamin, was full of praise for Ghana’s government. The ‘Victory’ hit singer, who posted a video after using the facility, was simply amazed.

He and his colleagues kept eulogising the facility while calling on the Nigerian government to equally build something like that in their country.
