I married Dr Kweku Oteng out of love and his humility – Akua GMB

The 2011 winner of TV3’s Ghana’s Most Beautiful, Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah, popularly called Akua, has revealed why she married her polygamous husband who is also far older than her.
Akua, not long after being crowned the winner of the season of the GMB, got married to Dr Kweku Oteng, one of Ghana’s popular business moguls.
She was reported to be the third or firth wife of the rich Dr Oteng of Angel Group of Companies, manufacturers of Adonko Bitters and other products.

Others accused him of jumping into marriage with “someone old enough to be his father” because of money.
There were also rumours that Akua ‘trapped’ Dr. Oteng with pregnancy in order for him to marry her, but in a new interview, Akua has debunked all those allegations.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.net, Akua said she married Dr Oteng because of his humility, and out of love for him.

She ruled out money as her reason for marrying her husband, and added that she is happy to be one of his many wives.
“Dr. Oteng is one humble human being that any individual would want to hang out with so I did not see the need in letting him go when he proposed marriage to me,” Akua said.
She was, however, not willing to confirm or deny whether she is the third or fifth wife of Kweku Oteng as had been speculated, and said it was enough for the public to just know that she is not the only wife of her husband; indicating that her position is not for public consumption.

According to her, even though her hubby is married to other women, she is still happy staying with him because of the love they have for each other.
Akua and Dr Kweku Oteng are blessed with two boys, according to reports.
She has also been made the General Manager of Angel Group of Companies.
