Akufo-Addo to receive Outstanding Leaders Award in New York

Ghana President, Nana Akufo-Addo has been chosen as the recipient of the 2018 U.S.-Africa Business Center Outstanding Leaders Award.

The award which will be presented by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s U.S.-Africa Business Center (USAfBC) on September 24 will be held in New York.

Akufo-Addo will be given the award for his efforts in championing trade and investment in Ghana and Africa.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.

Its International Affairs division includes more than 80 regional and policy experts and 25 country- and region-specific business councils and initiatives.

The U.S. Chamber also works closely with 117 American Chambers of Commerce abroad.
