Actress Yvonne Okoro, has explained why she wore a 'tight-fitting' dress to the grand final of the Miss Universe Ghana 2018 on September 15, which saw Akpene Diatta Hoggar being crowned as the ultimate queen.
Many celebrities were in attendance and YEN.com.gh reported on what some of them including Yvonne Nelson, KOD, Sandra Ankobiah and Shirley Frimpong-Manso, wore to the event.
The event was held at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra and saw performances from several artistes, including King Promise.
However, the night, like many others, was not bereft of controversy as some photos of actress Yvonne Okoro, caught the eye of many people due to the dress she wore.
The actress was seen in a tight-fitting red dress which appeared to show some cleavage.
Yvonne Okoro, however, came out to explain her outfit choice on the night as she took to her Instagram page wearing the same dress.
After sharing a photo of herself, she wrote, "So started this weight loss journey with @skinfidence_gh for 3 weeks now. They deliver delicious but healthy meals.Lost 9kgs so far and still going. No i have no health issues just missed being slim and healthy.

The dress set tongues wagging after it revealed her two 'huge melons' struggling to escape from ‘bondage’.
After all was said and done, Akpene Diata Hoggar, the representative from the Brong-Ahafo Region of Ghana was left joyous after she was announced winner of the 2018 edition of the pageant and would represent Ghana in Thailand.
