Zoomlion regional manager Samuel Edu has cautioned the public to stop the disposal of used sanitary pads into the company's waste bins. The Central Regional head of the company said this among others, cause health risks to workers.
Edu mentioned that this phenomenon happens in both residential and public places. He worried that people are not cooperating with the company for a good service.
According to the report we sighted on Adomonline.com, the regional head believes the issue has become a major source of worry for workers of the company in the region.
The waste manager made the remark in an interview on Adom News at a ceremony in the Assin North District Assembly. Certain equipment were donated to the Assembly.
Zoomlion is the biggest waste management service company in the country. It has partnered the state for over five years in the job of maintaining sanitation standards.
In the past, the company has been caught in a scandal or two over their relationship with the government.
It is interesting to know how Ghanaians would take this call for them to cooperate with Zoomlion workers.
