Ras Kimono’s wife passes away three months after his death

- Efemena Okedi, wife of the late reggae musician, Ras Kimono, has lost her life

- She passed away about 3 months after the death of her husband

- The cause of her death is yet to be ascertained

YEN.com.gh has received a report of the death of Efemena Okedi, wife of the late reggae musician, Ras Kimono.

According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, she lost her life on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her Magodo Isheri home in Lagos, Nigeria.

Information available shows that the cause of her death is yet to be ascertained, but has been confirmed by the Project Manager of Premiere Music, Michael Odiong.

“Yes, Efe Kimono is dead. She was confirmed dead this morning. I can’t give out any other detail aside this for now,” Odiong said.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that reggae icon, Ras Kimono passed away on June 10, 2018. He was buried two months later.

Kimono, before his death, celebrated his 60th birthday with friends and family and was expected to travel to the United States.

His debut album, Under Pressure, was very popular in Africa in the late 90’s.

Before its release, he was in a group called The Jastix along with Amos McRoy and Majek Fashek.
