Zylofon-signed artiste, Joyce Blessing, has described as "stupid" a statement that sought to criticize Nana Appiah Mensah's investment in her career.
In the wake of the brouhaha surrounding Menzgold Gold Dealership, Ghanaians have taken to social media to express their views. One person's opinion got gospel artiste to post the response, "Such a stupid statement."
Menzgold Gold Dealership is owned by Nana Appiah Mensah. He is also the owner of Zylofon Media, an entertainment company which signed Blessing among other artistes.
Twitter user @datcoolnicedude tweeted, like many others, of disappointment with Menzgold after the company was caught in a scandal that revealed that it might not be a legitimate investment.
The user said: "Imagine say you invest your life savings for some place wey you lose the money all but you kai say them take the money sign Joyce Blessing and Toosweet Annan. I go mad."
The gospel singer did not take kindly to this. Blessing then replied: "Such a stupid statement"
The other name mentioned in the tweet, Twosweet Annan, is an actor signed by Zylofon.
Recently, it was revealed by Joy News’ Israel Laryea that the Menzgold office in the UK is not actually engaging in the same business as it does in Ghana.
The journalist visited the Menzgold office in London but said the gold dealership firm occupies just a small space in the Berkeley Square House building.
