- Prophet Kumchacha has disclosed that he will readily take gifts from drugs users
- According to him, he will worship God in a church built by a cocaine dealer
- His comments were in reaction to concerns raised about Adonko Bitters, the main sponsor of the 2018 RTP awards
The Founder of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Kumchacha, has revealed his readiness to accept gifts from alcoholic companies as well as drug dealers.
According to him, he will willingly worship God in a church built by drug dealers if need be.
His comments were in reaction to concerns raised by a cross-section of Ghanaians with respect to alcoholic beverages sponsoring gospel events.
This was in relation to the fact that an alcoholic beverage, Adonko Bitters, has been unveiled as the main sponsor for the 2018 Radio and Television Personality Awards.
The bone of contention was whether gospel musicians should accept or reject the nominations given them.
Contributing to the discussion on Saturday, September 22, 2018, Prophet Kumchacha stated that he sees nothing wrong with an alcoholic beverage company sponsoring an event he is part of.
“Many people trade in many forms, some sell alcohol and give offerings at church; if we should go by that, then every pastor would have to find out the source of income of every church member before they give offerings“, he said.
The man of God explained that he has no problem with offerings and support coming from sinners, since the church is there to save and shape lives.
