- He is alleged to have earlier participated in a robbery in which a policeman was shot dead
Police officials have arrested a suspected fugitive, Osman Mohammed, who was involved in an attack on a gold dealership at Bogoso in the Western Region.
Mohammed was picked from a police cell where he was being kept, as investigations were ongoing for a different crime.
YEN.com.gh understands that Mohammed teamed up with other suspects to attack a gold dealership company, Plate and Plummes, where they made away with over GH¢900,000 and a kilogramme of gold.

The robbers allegedly shot dead a policeman on duty before bolting with their booty.
According to sources, money stolen from the refinery was hidden in the bush, but when they went for it later, they found only GH¢450,000, which they shared.
A manhunt for the robbers on May 24, 2018, led to the death of two others, Kojo Amponsah and Nathaniel Abu Udomah, who resisted arrest and rather exchanged fire with the police.
After that incident, Osman vanished from the police radar, as his whereabouts became a mystery.
According to the Director-General of the Police Intelligence Directorate (PID), Commissioner of Police (COP), Mr Christian Tetteh Yohunu, Osman was picked up after intelligence showed that he had been detained at the Odorkor Police Station.
This was after he had been grabbed for causing unlawful harm, a crime to which he confessed.
