Yvonne Nelson praises John Mahama's contribution to terminal at Kotoka

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has commended former President John Mahama for his upgrade on the Terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport.

Yvonne Nelson lauded Mahama, for what she believes is a good job done with the new Kotoka International Airport's Terminal 3.

The now famed terminal was one of the showpieces that the Mahama government looked to market for a re-election bid in 2016.

However, this did not materialise as John Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) were voted out of office. The terminal was however commissioned in the reign of the current president, Nana Akufo-Addo.

The actress is not known as a big fan of the former president. She once organised and led a demonstration against his administration's handling of Ghana's electricity crisis a few years ago.

She also had a very public feud with her friend, John Dumelo, on his support for John Mahama during the 2016 elections.

Nelson wrote in one of the tweets: "I can’t believe I’m still in Ghana!!!!! Leadership should be all about this I’m sooo impressed. Ghana deserves more!!!!"

And then: "Soooo impressed @JDMahama good job "

This would come as a surprise to many. But others may still view Nelson's applause as a sign of her political maturity.
