- Arnold Mensah Elavanyo has slammed some critics of Menzgold CEO Nana Appiah Mensah
- According to him, the criticism coming the way of NAM1 were uncalled for
- He went on to state some of the good works of the businessman and called for calm
Entertainment pundit and Zylofon FM presenter, Arnold Mensah Elavanyo, has slammed people lambasting Zylofon Media and Menzgold boss, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1 over issues related to Menzgold.
The top entertainment pundit took to social media to express his disappointment in the critics who were bent on tarnishing NAM1's image due to what he called "an issue with just one out of his numerous businesses."
Arnold went on to chide NAM1's critics and indicated that the Zylofon Media CEO had accomplished many exploits that even past and present governments had not been able to achieve.
Excerpts from his post read, "Everything NAM 1 promised in the past 15 to 20 months, he took steps to deliver. A young man boldly promises 1million jobs for Ghanaian youth. He gave out huge sums of money to community leaders to help encourage development. He has established companies both home and abroad and employed Ghanaians. He has single handedly invested in a whole sector of the economy being the arts and entertainment wing more than any government we have had in the past decade."
He called on Ghanaians who were criticizing the businessman to cut the negativity and support one of their own to help the nation as a whole.
"Can't we for once support a brother through hard times? So NAM1 is crashed to the ground and you gained what?" his post continued.
Arnold Mensah Elavanyo drew the conclusion that should anything untoward happen to NAM1's business, some business-minded individuals would have no option than to rescind their dreams of helping the nation in their own small way.
"We just hate success and successful people. We are bitter. If this guy goes down, I can bet that no young person with enough cash will consider doing anything major in our economy," the Zylofon FM presenter noted.
Nana Appiah Mensah has come under heavy criticism and atacks in the past few days owing to an impasse between one of his businesses, Menzgold Ghana Limited and the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Menzgold was ordered by the SEC to shut down its operations earlier in September. This led to the gold hub suspending its activities promising to resume on September 19.
However, due to some inconclusive meetings between the SEC and Menzgold, the suspension of the gold outfit's gold vault services was extended to September 28.
In a related development, Ghanaian millionaire, Ibrah One, has put his life on the line and has indicated his willingness to end his life should Menzgold resume work in September 28.
NAM1 however, hit back at Ibrah and revealed why he was desperately trying to tarnish his hard-earned reputation.
