Speaking on how he came by his nickname, the actor said he prayed to God to give him a name that was going to take him far and settled on Don Little.

He said he took the name "Don" because he liked a lot of big things and according to him, the name was used to refer to influential people.

The suffix "Little" was derived after he took a look at his stature and concluded that he was indeed 'small'.

Don Little added that even though he sometimes felt bad about his height, he was very grateful to God for the favor and grace.

“I think about my height because I can’t become a mason, and if I go to an office to seek employment, no one will give me work to do. The only thing God can use to help me is his favor,” he said.

In recounting how he rose to stardom, Don Little said that he used used to go on set with some actors in Kumasi but the production did not come out.

He said he used to tag along with one cameraman but later met comedian Funny Face who ave him his first major big break.
