- Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos are out of Real Madrid squad against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday
- The pair suffered various degree of injuries in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Atletico Madrid
- The Los Blancos will also be without the duo of recuperating Isco and Marcelo for the UCL tie
UEFA Champions League defending champions, Real Madrid are expected to miss the services of four of their superstars, ahead of their second group game against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.
According to reports coming out of Spanish club, the likes of Gareth Bale and three others are suffering one form of minor injury and the Los Blancos missed Sunday's flight to Moscow.
Interestingly, the Welshman, who failed to complete Saturday’s barren draw against Atletico Madrid in the La Liga, did not make the trip as he is down with an abductor injury.
Reacting moments after the game, Galaticos boss Julen Lopetegui stressed it was a precautionary move, saying: "Bale had discomfort in his abductor at half-time and as a precaution he didn't come out for the second half,” the former La Roja manger, was quoted as saying.
However, the 29-year-old Bale has now joined the trio of Isco, Marcelo and skipper Sergio Ramos, who failed to travel with the rest of the gang.
The club’s playmaker Isco is currently recuperating from an appendicitis surgery, Marcelo is down with a calf injury while Ramos suffered a cut during Saturday’s Madrid derby.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Real Madrid defence ace Marcelo will not play any role for the Los Blancos in Saturday’s Madrid derby after suffering a calf injury in midweek 3-0 loss to Sevilla.
According to a UK Daily Mail report, citing Marca, Marcelo is also expected to be out of Real Madrid’s Champions League showdown against CSKA Moscow as well as next weekend's trip to Alaves in the La Liga.
The Brazilian has been an important member of the Los Blancos squad for some games, and will be greatly missed by the fans, who will be praying Marcelo’s right leg heals quickly.
