Ghanaian rapper, Kwesi Arthur has said that he has no intentions of furthering his education to the tertiary level.
Fast-rising hiphop artiste, Kwesi Arthur has shot down suggestions that he may look to go to school in order to get a degree. Arthur believes that since he has found his career path there was no need for higher education.
Arthur currently holds a Senior High School certificate. This is after all, a common situation of musicians across the world and particularly, Ghana.
Arthur says he intends focusing on his music career so he can move beyond the borders of Ghana and Africa.
The Tema-based rapper due to his influence was recently nominated for BET's Viewers Choice Best New International Act Category award. But the "Woara" singer missed out to South African musician, Sjava.
The young rapper is fast gaining international recognition and hopes his mini cameo on BBC will be a sign of many good things to come.
Kwesi is currently said to be ‘dinning’ with top Ghanaian musicians and stakeholders after rewriting his life-story.
Among some of the big name artistes without degrees, one may include Sarkodie, Samini, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
