- Bishop Daniel Obinim has been seen in a new video teaching his congregants a new dance
- He was seen dancing with one of his fellow pastors and encouraged his church members to do the dance
Founder and leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has caused another stir on social media with a latest video showing off a new dance to his church members.
The popular pastor who was preaching at one branch of his church, announced to his church members that he was going to teach them a new dance.
"We are going to do a certain dance that everyone must replicate. When I dance, everyone of you must also dance," Obinim told his congregants.
He then called one of his pastors who stood facing him and they started demonstrating the dance which saw them hug.
After a brief pause, some church members ran to the preacher and started throwing money on him and sang his praises.
Some of his church members who were already dancing tried replicating the dance and soon, the front of the auditorium was filled with people trying to replicate the dance of their leader.
The pastor later started singing a song in which he claimed he was also going to spend government's money since leaders of the nation were spending it as well.
To spur his church members on to replicate his new dance, he promised people who replicated the dance effortlessly some lotto numbers.
His promise gingered many people and they all went into a frenzy trying to win the price and danced to the admiration of Obinim.
At a point, the preacher said, "Oh my God, I like the way you are dancing," as his congregants tried their best to outdo each other on the dance floor.
It is common knowledge that the Kumasi-based pastor has claimed to be an angel and has upgraded through the ranks to become an arch-angel.
Not too long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that the popular pastor, while speaking on a local TV station, claimed to have been introduced to Adam, Eve, Moses and Abraham.
In the same TV interview, the preacher revealed that he was purchasing a private jet which was to arrive in the country on his request.
YEN.com.gh also reported a on a video in which the pastor was seen in one of his church branches during service reportedly trying to vanish into heaven.
"I feel to fly right now...I feel to fly," the man of God was heard saying.
"Watch me, I am about to vanish," he continued in Twi.
He was instantly surrounded by some junior pastors and some of his congregants who begged him to rescind his decision to leave them on earth.
This is not the first time the Kumasi-based man of God has attempted to take off into heaven on his 'wings.'
He was seen in another video where he was fully dressed in a suit and tie and mimicked the actions of a bird preparing for takeoff by flapping his arms.
The leader of the church is arguably one of Ghana’s most influential Men of God.
He is also counted among the richest Men of God in the country because he boasts of many houses and expensive cars with the latest addition to his fleet being a $300,000 Rolls Royce.
Aside the fact that many people do not side with some of the antics and controversies, the Man of God has been involved in, he commands a huge church following both in Kumasi and Accra.
The Man of God is married to local gospel sensation, Florence Obinim.
