Private legal practitioner Ace Akomah has become the target of strong criticism from a section of Ghanaians following a video post on the reported flooding of the Terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport.

The video began to trend on social media, leading to some people mocking the project as not properly constructed.
The ultra-modern terminal was opened for use on September 15, 2018 following the completion of tests and simulation exercises.
The Terminal 3 has five levels spread across an area of 48,268m² and semi-closed areas for the Baggage Make-up Areas of 28,260m².
It also boasts ultra-modern facilities and capacity to handle 5 million passengers a year, as well as six boarding bridges and 7 links.

However, it later emerged that the initial reports were false, with the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) confirming that at no point did the Terminal 3 get flooded.
Many Ghanaians on social media have since laid into the lawyer for posting what turned out to be “fake” news.
While some accused him of lacking patriotism, other said he takes delight in spreading the bad side of Ghana.
