I made Lil Win who he is - Movie Producer

Movie producer and director, Jackson K. Bentum, has caused a stir on social media by claiming that he played a vital role in the success story of award-winning Kumawood star, Kwadwo Nkansah, known widely as Lil Win.

According to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb.com. the popular movie producer made the revelation while speaking in an interview on Accra-based Zylofon FM.

Jackson K. Bentum indicated that he was the one who first introduced Lil Win into the movie scene by giving him a role to play in one of his movies titled "Menko Mabusua.”

He added that Lil Win's career went uphill from there and he eventually grew in the industry to become a household name.

According to the film maker, the comic Kumawood actor slowly ‘garnered’ his way to the top after he first cast him.

In touting his achievement, Bentum disclosed that he was part of the popular movie producers who were noted for unearthing the good actors and actresses the industry boasts today.

Lil Win is noted as one of the top Kumawood stars, having starred in over 100 movies starring other top acts like Jackie Appiah, Nana Ama McBrown, Kwaku Manu and Vivian Jill Lawrence.

Kwadwo Nkansah undoubtedly is one of the renowned actors in Ghana currently and like the story is always told, he sprung up into the movie scene from a humble beginning.

Not too long ago, he made headlines in the country when it was reported that he had established a school in Kumasi.

He was seen in photos on the day of the opening wearing a flashy suit and was joined by other actors including Kwame Boadi, known in public circles as Akrobeto.

Lil Win is noted as one of the top Kumawood stars having starred in over 100 movies that featured other top acts like Jackie Appiah, Nana Ama McBrown, Kwaku Manu and Vivian Jill Lawrence.

He is noted as one of the richest comic actors in Kumawood, boasting many cars and a number of houses.
