The Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has claimed that the Terminal 3 project at the Kotoka International Airport did not cost $278 million dollars.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, he claimed the Mahama administration inflated the cost of the project.
He went on to say that the cost released to the public is outrageous and shows the thievery of the then government.

He also accused the former president and his government of bloating project costs including the Pokuase interchange and the Circle interchange.
“The so-called Dubai interchange, how much did it cost? How much is Kasoa interchange? I spoke to one of the engineers and he said it would have cost 4 million.
Look at the airport, 278 million dollars, look at that. Mahama should tell that to the dogs; the road contract variations and all.
Today Mahama has nerves to criticize Akufo-Addo, oh my Lord. Look and check the record of that Brazilian company, Queiroz Galvao.
Go and check. They bloat the project and give the money to their girlfriends to buy houses in Dubai,” he revealed.
He further said that there is no value for money for the Terminal 3 project, as the one at Heathrow Airport could cost even less.
