Ebony Reign's sister, Foriwaa Opoku Kwateng has denied reports that she is being groomed by her father to take replace the late singer.
According to her, the reports were just rumours and must be disregarded because she was not bringing a song out as being speculated.
A few weeks ago, Foriwaa's father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng disclosed that in an interview he was in grooming her to take over Ebony’s place since she is the best person to take over her place.
Nana Kwarteng's revelation came after his controversial media war with Bullet over issues concerning Ebony's assets and what was due her.
Not long after, a video of Foriwaa surfaced on social media which seemed to confirm that she, indeed, had what it takes to succeed as a singer.
In the video which went viral, Foriwaa was seen singing Efya’s “Until the Dawn” with a very nice and unique voice.
This led to reports that Foriwaa had released a freestyle as she geared up to release a song of her own.
But in another video she sighted by YEN.com.gh, Foriwaa who sound not enthused by the reports stated that the video she recorded of herself singing Efya’s “Until the Dawn” is not a freestyle but one of many she.does.
She explained that she does such videos for fun and could be described as a hobby.
“…About the music videos I do, especially that of Efya’s “Until the Dawn” which has gone viral. I’m sorry but I do such videos just for the fun of it. Literally, it’s a hobby and I’ve been doing this for quite some time now. It's not because somebody is grooming anybody to bring songs…,” she said.
Foriwaa has been quite prominent in the news lately after she celebrated her birthday in a plush ceremony in September.
