- Prophet Badu Kobi said Akufo-Addo was not meant to be president of Ghana
- He said the president’s time was not yet up but Ghanaians rushed in voting him
- Badu Kobi indicated that Akufo-Addo would not retain his seat in the coming 2020 elections
One of Ghana’s controversial prophets, Emmanuel Badu Kobi, has revealed that President Akufo-Addo was not meant to be Ghana’s president.
According to Kobi, Akufo-Addo was not destined to be elected as president in 2016, according to his presidential status in the spirit realm.
Kobi blamed Nana’s current status as president on the electorates, who, he said, rushed in voting Nana when his time was not yet up.
The self-acclaimed prophet also blamed the “poor” performance of the president on this reason.

Prophet Badu Kobi explained that Ghanaians distorted God’s spiritual equation for the country’s governance system by mistakenly electing the New Patriotic Party’s 2016 flagbearer as president.
According to him, God wanted former President John Mahama to retain his seat but the electorates rushed in voting for President Akufo-Addo whose time to govern Ghana was not yet up.
Kobi then indicated that Nana Addo’s chances to win the 2020 election would not be realized because “the spiritual equation has been destroyed”.
“The one [John Mahama] who was already on the seat was supposed to be retained [in 2016] so that NPP can take over in 2020. Now the spiritual equation has been destroyed.”
He disclosed further that Akufo-Addo was rather ordained to be Ghana’s president in 2008 but some changes in the spiritual plans prior to the elections did not make that possible.
The spiritual plans, he said, was because Akufo-Addo failed to “purge himself spiritually”.
“God revealed to me why Akufo-Addo didn’t win in 2008 and why he won’t win again in 2012. The answer was if he could purge himself else anytime he represents the NPP, they will lose. After he lost in the 2012 elections, I then understood that he wasn’t meant to lead Ghana. It’s not everything that man wants that he gets,” Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi claimed.
Meanwhile, another self-acclaimed prophet, Nigel Gaisie, who claimed to have also prophesized Ebony’s death, has said Akufo-Addo will get the shock of his life after the 2020 elections.
