YEN.com.gh is in possession of the photos of two high ranking managers of the beleaguered gold firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited.
To most Ghanaians, Menzgold’s Chief Executive Officer, Nana Appiah Mensah, has been the face of the brand.
He is however not in charge of managing the franchise, but has a seven-member team that handles the day-to-day operations of the business.
According to a report by MyNewsGH.com, one of the managers is Isaac Wilson, who is in charge of Supervision and the Operations team.
The other is Elisha Owusu, who heads the Bullion and Shipping department, and is responsible for all Menzgold products that leave Ghana.
The embattled gold dealership firm recently announced that it has reached an agreement with its customers to scrap the payment of dividends to them.
The deal is said to have been reached at a meeting between Menzgold’s customers and stakeholders on October 7, 2018 at Korkdam Hotel.
Menzgold revealed that there would be no payment of dividends as earlier suggested.
“During the said meeting held around 3 pm, it was generally agreed that due to the challenges faced by the company and the fact that customers are no longer interested in dividends, it was wise to scrap the dividends,” a statement from Menzgold said.
The meeting, held between the board, management of Menzgold and customers numbering over 100 from all branches nationwide, was said to have been co-chaired by the Board Chairman of Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Yaw Offei, its Corporate Manager, and Menzgold International Consultant.
