YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of Ghana’s ‘Highest’ rapper Sarkodie, hitting back heavily at Shatta Wale.
In a new ‘diss’ song titled “Advice”, Sarkodie doled out loads of insults to Shatta Wale, cautioning the dancehall artiste to be wary of him.
In the new song YEN.com.gh listened to, Sarkodie called Shatta Wale names, and said though he boasts of riches, he is actually poor.
“Who gives a f*** with your chicken change property?” a line of Sarkodie’s song chants.
According to Sarkodie, Shatta Wale knows nothing, but only enjoys tarnishing the hard-earned image of other musicians.
Sarkodie also called Shatta Wale a fool, and said that although the bank account of the dancehall star cannot even finance a brand new car, he was always making noise.
Speaking about himself, Sarkodie sang that he does not like talking, but occasionally [when Shatta Wale becomes so irritating], he likes to touch on a few things, hence the “diss” track.
He spoke highly of himself saying that he is focused on leaving a footprint in the industry.
Sarkodie further sang that because he does not flaunt his wealth doesn’t mean he is poor, and also sang that if Shatta Wale claims he (Sarkodie) is a poor man, then God should bless him (Sarkodie) with more poverty.
Sarkodie and Shatta Wale have been at each other’s throat for some days now.
This followed an interview Shatta Wale granted, saying he felt disrespected by Sarkodie, who after the release of ‘Megye wo girl’, refused to shoot a video for that song though he pestered Sarkodie to do so for years.
However, he said Sarkodie rushed to shoot a video with Patoranking for their “No Kissing” collaboration song, a situation Shatta Wale felt was insulting to his personality.
The dance hall artiste went on to say that he is richer than Sakordie, and in a more recent news, called on him, Samini and Stonebwoy, to retire from music because they were not making fortunes from it.
In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, Sarkodie ordered Shatta Wale to “shut up”, and it seems this new song is the full version of his order to Shatta Wale.
As controversial as Shatta Wale is, it is expected that he would immediately respond to Sarkodie’s insult soon.
YEN.com.gh will follow this new development and feed readers with fresh information as they come in.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale’s new ‘Reign’ Album will be launch on Saturday, October 13, 2018.
