A pastor with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Reverend Joseph Appiah Odei, has dragged Menzgold and the CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah to court.
Rev Appiah Odei is reportedly battling Menzgold and Nana Appiah legally for what has been described as “locked” church investments, according to a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Mynewsgh.com.
The pastor, who is reported to be a client of the company, is, among other things, demanding his investments and accrued interest.
Among the statement of claims contained in the writ of summons as filed by the pastor, Rev. Appiah Odei is also demanding general damages for breach of contract, and also general damages for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Meanwhile, Menzgold Company Limited has announced that it will no longer pay dividends to customers as said earlier.
According to an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, the company has concluded that the customers are no longer interested in their dividends.
The company added that due to its current struggling state, it will no longer pay the dividends.
In a related development, some angry clients of the Menzgold have said President Akufo-Addo is to blame for the current state of Menzgold.
According to them, they enjoyed smooth services with the company until the coming to power of Akufo-Addo and the NPP in 2016.
Another angry client by name Russel Senam, has said he was taking Nana Appiah Mensah and his family to a shrine in the Volta Region to “discipline” him there until he paid every pesewa he owed him.
