Veteran movie producer Danfo B.A dead

Ghanaian movie producer and distributor Kwaku Boakye, popularly known as Danfo B.A, is dead.

The veteran producer is reported to have died in the early hours of on Sunday October, 14, 2018.

Reports suggest he has been battling an illness for the past 12 months and was occasionally on admission at the hospital.

Danfo B.A. reportedly died while on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

He is mostly remembered for some of the controversial Ghanaian movies he introduced into the local movie industry.

Until his demise, he was one of the leading movie producers and distributors in the country, having produced numerous films.

Danfo B.A. produced popular Ghallywood movie ‘Kyeiwaa” while also collaborating with Socrates Sarfo to produce other movies.

The veteran producer is also credited as a man who nurtured and mentored many Ghanaian actors and actresses.
