Residents at Adentan Housing Down in the Adentan Municipality of the Greater Accra region have lamented the poor state of roads in the community, which leads to serious floods each time it rains.
In a short video posted on social media, an aggrieved resident narrated the ordeal they normally go through when there is rainfall.
The video showed the roads completely flooded, with the poor drainage systems unable to control the running water.

Meanwhile, there were also other residents who were stuck and unable to move to their destinations due to the serious floods.
Adentan has been one of the flood prone areas in the country for some time now, with the community’s deplorable roads a real cause of concern.
The residents, therefore, called on their Member of Parliament and the government to do something about the situation.
This comes after some residents of Ablekuma and Nsakina in the Ga West District also hit the streets on Monday to protest the bad nature of roads in their communities.
Drivers went on a strike, while some aggrieved residents also joined to block the roads and to burn lorry tyres to register their displeasure with the situation.
