Shatta Wale's words and actions on peace and unity do not match - Three reasons why

Musician Shatta Wale is known for his vocal and sometimes volatile persona. However, the musician maintains that he is a man looking to bring Ghanaian artistes together to fight a common cause.

Shatta Wale's persona has been cited as the reason his attempt to lead a united front is a sham. Many have even called into question how genuine his motives are.

YEN.com.gh has enumerated three reasons why the dancehall artistes words of peace are not matching with his actions.

1. Shatta Wale has admitted he creates controversies to stay in the news

According to the musician, it is relevant for an artiste to know how to not be forgotten. For him, it is necessary to create the buzz that puts an artiste's name in the news all the time.

It is therefore not hard for entertainment observer to look at this and conclude that Shatta Wale may not be the genuine peacemaker he wants people to believe.

After all, he is willing to "kick and punch" to remain famous.

2. Shatta Wale struggles to maintain a peaceful tone

Perhaps it is his nature and that might be the reason his thousands of fans love him. But we cannot convince ourselves that Shatta Wale can attract people with a calm and peaceful tone.

He has on a number of occasions been too quick to dismiss different opinions other than his. A case in point would be what started his disagreements with Kwaw Kese.

And in an expected turn of events, Wale says he would like to respond to Sarkodie's "Advice."

3. When he has the chance to do something symbolic for peace, he does not

As has been reported by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale was not enthused on letting Samini and Stonebwoy join in support of his Reign album launch. This was after Shatta Wale had said all top artistes were invited.

Samini and Stonebwoy are the two with whom Shatta Wale seems to have the most problem. Holding hands on stage with them at his album, would have made Shatta Wale a hero of a sort.
