Posters of NDC's General Mosquito surfaces after he claimed there was no need because he was popular among members of the party.
National Democratic Congress (NDC) general secretary, John Asiedu Nketia seems to have revised his notes and now splashing posters at vantage places to attract the attention of the party’s grassroots.
After stating that the emergence of his deputy Koku Anyidoho cannot give him a run for his money, Asiedu Nketiah seems to have taken a second look at the challenge.
The NDC is holding internal party elections in December 2018 to elect executives and their flagbearer.
Some two months ago, Asiedu Nketiah, also known as General Mosquito, was quoted as saying in a radio interview: “With the campaign, there is something which is not necessary. They are just for fun and a waste of money. So in my campaigns, I normally don’t even print out posters.
Because with internal elections only party executives are expected to vote, therefore, if the delegates know you already there is no need to make photos telling people this is Asiedu Nketia."
YEN.com.gh can however not confirm if the posters were campaigned by the NDC general secretary or his campaign team.
