Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, has reiterated his desire to wear the jersey of Kotoko.
Gyan has been an ardent supporter of the two-time African champions he wants to play for them before hanging his boots.
Despite playing local professional football for Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals, the 33 year-old goal poacher says it will be a dream come true to don the jersey of the Porcupine Warriors.
Speaking at a ceremony to unveil one of his companies, Paradise-pac mineral water, as sponsors of Kotoko, Gyan made one last promise to the Kotoko fans.
“I am a big fan of Kotoko, I have been supporting this team since day one,” Gyan said.
“It is a great honor to be part of, let me say this before I will draw the curtains down on my career I will wear the red jersey,” he concluded.
Gyan has played for top European clubs including Sunderland, Udunese and Rennes.
He currently plies his trade in the Turkish top-flight for Kayserispor.
Gyan has capped 103 times for Ghana, scoring 51 goals in the process.
