Social media users reveal the things they honestly love about Shatta Wale

It is an open secret that multiple award-winning dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known widely as Shatta Wale, has a huge following on and off social media.

Testament to the support and loyalty enjoyed by the 'Gringo' singer from his fans was the massive turnout that was recorded at the just ended launch of his much-talked-about, 'Reign' album.

The Fantasy Dome in Accra was filled to capacity and even recorded an overflow during the launch of the 'Reign' album last Saturday.

Shatta Wale, who celebrated his birthday a few days ago, did so in grand style as he received a Mercedes Benz gift and had it customized with a license plate that read "ADVICE 1-18".

Some of his fans maintained that the plush automobile and number plate was Shatta Wale's reply to Sarkodie's diss song.

Aside the fact that Shatta Wale enjoys a lot of love from his fans, the singer also has a fair share of critics and haters.

Shatta Wale is noted for his many controversies on and off social media which include 'beefing' other artistes in the industry and making controversial statements.

This part of his craft saw the 'Don't Baby My Baby' singer in a recent beef with Ghana's fastest rapper, Sarkodie, just days to the launch of the much-anticipated 'Reign' album launch.

Sarkodie released a diss song titled 'Advice' to address Shatta Wale after the latter called him (Sarkodie) poor.

Shatta Wale has also been in beefs and controversies with other acts including his own Zylofon Media colleague, Stonebwoy and fellow dancehall act Samini.

Despite the 'tough love' coming the way of Shatta Wale, some of his fans have shown their unflinching support regardless of whatever situation he gets himself into.

Asiamah was in love with Shatta Wale's music because according to him, it spoke volumes.

Georgina had a few words of encouragement for the singer. However, she went o to reveal some of the things she disliked about him.

Adofowaa was intrigued about how Shatta Wale was able to turn any situation into cash.

Nana Yaa was of the notion that Shatta Wale was always true to himself and that made her like him very much.
