Controversial social media ‘queen’, Moesha Boduong, has revealed that she will be sponsoring a number of ten girls to learn trades in hairdressing and makeup.
Moesha said she will do this under her foundation which is set to be launch in March 2019, after her birthday.
According to her, the girls will be selected following the launch of the Moesha Foundation and be trained by professionals to become independent entrepreneurs.
This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Ghanaweb.com.
“I’m going to be sponsoring like ten people on trade like how to do hair and makeup. I’m still working on it so when it’s finally ready, I’ll put it out there to select the girls. I’m going to launch it next year after my birthday,” Moesha said.
Moesha Boduong became the subject of criticism following an interview she granted to CNN’ Chistine Amanpour about Ghanaian women and the economy.
According to her, Ghana’s economy was so bad that Ghanaian women could never make it on their own unless they depend on other men – married men, for that matter.
“In Ghana our economy is such a way that you need someone to take care of you. You can’t make enough money as a woman here. Because even when you want to get an apartment, in Ghana they take two years’ advance and I just started working where will I get money to pay?” Moesha said in the interview.
Meanwhile, Moesha has also been in the news a number of times mostly for controversial reasons.
In an earlier report by YEN.com.gh, Moesha was slammed by fans for confidently displaying her ‘tonga’ in a photo she released.
She has also on many occasions, released photos of hers which only got tongues to wag on social media.
