Dancehall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has reacted to a viral video in which he appeared to ignore some of his fans who tried showing him love on the street.
The 'Top Skanka' singer, who was responding to the allegation in an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Accra-based Adom FM, revealed that he was absent-minded.
"When you take a critical look at the video...I wonder why people did not see that I was not there mentally. I wonder why they were not able to see that but they were able to see that I snubbed these people by no reaction," Stonebwoy lamented.
Explaining further, the Zylofon Media signee noted that, "Going through the traffic...we get these everyday...Let nobody try to paint a different picture of me unnecessarily. I know there are haters," Stonebwoy added.
"I was just straight-faced and lost because I was not there at the moment", the singer reiterated when he was asked again what was going on with him at the time.
He added that he was not the type who would ever snub his fans because many people who knew him well could attest to the fact that he was happy whenever people showed him love.
YEN.com.gh earlier sighted a video of the multiple award-winning dancehall act as some fans showed him love on the streets.
The video showed the 'Hero' singer, looking on with a straight face as he was being hailed by his fans who were mostly street hawkers.
Fans mobbed the dancehall act who was in the vehicle with his manager, Blakk Cedi and one other person believed to be a photographer.
Not too long ago, Stonebwoy was in the news after he, together with his wife, Louisa was spotted at the wedding of his younger sister.
The wedding was held on October, 13, 2018, the same day arch-rival of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale launched his 'Reign' album at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.
It was at this same launch that the singer was reportedly turned away from making an appearance with fellow dancehall act, Samini.
When the news broke that Stonebwoy and Samini were refused entrance into the Fantasy Dome to support the launch of the 'Reign' album, Shatta Wale revealed that he was not aware of the development and apologised to them.
Stonebwoy, however, came back to rubbish Shatta Wale's claim and revealed that Shatta Wale was being economical with the truth.
Stonebwoy is set to organise his 'Ashaiman To The World' concert on October 27, 2018 on the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman.
It is yet to be ascertained if he (Stonebwoy) would allow Shatta Wale to perform at his concert following Shatta Wale's comments about his intentions to grace the upcoming concert.
