Ghana's fastest rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, literally brought the roof down at the Fantasy Dome in Accra during the Glo Mega Music show which saw him perform many songs.
The 'Can't Let You Go' singer thrilled patrons of the show with many of his songs but caught the attention of many as he performed a song he recorded with dancehall act, Shatta Wale titled 'Megye Wo Girl'.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh on Instagram, Sarkodie was seen on stage performing on the stage and got the crowd going crazy as he sang the 'Megye Wo Girl' song.
The crowd were so charged up as the song came on and could not help but just sing along to the song amidst dancing and jumping about.
This was the same song that reportedly led to the impasse between the two acts because Shatta Wale claimed Sarkodie did not want to shoot a music video for the song.
The Glo Mega Music Show saw some of the finest A-List music artistes across Ghana and Nigeria like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Davido, Wizkid, Flavour, Yemi Alade, and many others give impressive performances to the delight of all patrons who came to the event.
It was held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 and was attended by many big shots in the entertainment industry
Shatta Wale, who was not billed for the event earlier took a dig at Glo for not agreeing to pay him an amount he (Shatta Wale) felt he deserved.
Shatta Wale and Sarkodie have been in the news for a number of days following a diss song the latter released titled 'Advice'.
The song was meant to 'silence' Shatta Wale who according to Sarkodie, was making too much noise with his "Chicken change property".
Shatta Wale has however not released an official song to respond to Sarkodie's 'Advice'. However, the 'Dem Confuse' singer, released a Mercedes Benz on his birthday and the inscription on the number plate read, "Advice 1-18".
A Sarkodie fan, in reacting to the Mercedes Benz photo, also posted a picture of a motorbike and it had "Alumi 1-18" written on the license plate.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Sarkodie had purchased a new Range Rover to spite Shatta Wale who the former claimed did not have enough money in his account to own such a plush car.
Sarkodie has reportedly released another song titled 'Homicide' and pundits have claimed it to be a continuation of his punchlines directed at Shatta Wale.
