NDC Youth Organisser calls for KNUST violence to be blamed on Akufo-Addo

The Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region believes none other than President Akufo-Addo is to blame for the issues at the KNUST.

According to an executive of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC,) no less a person should be blamed for the brutalities on the campuses of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) than President Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to a statement from the office of the NDC executive, Onasis Kobby, "The President cannot in anyway feign ignorance of the Conversion Policy prior to its implementation, making his sudden populist posture worrying and dangerous."

Onasis Kobby indicated that the president is culpable in the entire mess.

His statement continued: "Our President Nana Addo must take the blame for inciting such action.

The President’s promise...through the Minister of Education in a clear interference of the University Council’s mandate set the fertile grounds for such dastardly act."
