King Promise denies Yasmin Behzadi's claim of spending $150k on him

- King Promise has denied claims by Yasmi Behadzi that he neglected after she spent $150,000 on his career

- According to him, Yasmin's claims are just preposterous

Ghanaian Afro-pop artiste, King Promise has denied claims by Yasmin Behzadi, a Dubai-based businesswoman, he (Promise) had been ungrateful to him.

YEN.com.gh reported last week that Yasmin had threatened to sue King Promise for neglecting her.

According to the report, Yasmin had claimed that after investing huge sums of money to help build King Promise’s career and to make him successful, the ‘CCTV’ hitmaker had relegated her to the background.

"After signing him and helping change his name from Boy P to King Promise, I set up YB Records to help push King Promise’s music, spent in excess of $150,000 on high budget music video shoots in Dubai, traveling expenses, luxury cars, Hollywood producers and promotions,” Yasmin reportedly stated in an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM.

But in a statement to the media through his current management, King Promise said Yasmin’s “claims of spending $150,000 was due to her own unilateral decisions and luxurious lifestyles; even if she, indeed, has spent that much, Yasmin gave up along the line when her financial expectations were not being met, to the extent of calling King Promise 'a waste product’”.

“It was at this point that Killbeatz signed King Promise onto his Legacy Life Entertainment Label and started everything afresh, Killbeatz enlightened King Promise about the music business and supported him into releasing all his hit songs till date, these include ‘Double Trouble’, ‘Oh Yeah’, ‘Hey Sexy’ and ‘Selfish,’” King Promise's statement further explained.

On the claim of spending $150,000 on his career, King Promise described it as preposterous and clear indication that Yasmin wants to reap what she has not sown.

“It is instructive to note that Yasmin has not invested a dime in any of King Promise’s recent projects (songs) and, so, her claim of spending $150,000 is preposterous and smacks of an individual with the intent to reap what she has not sown,” he added.

King Promise, however, noted that he is forever grateful for what Yasmin did for him in his early days of experimenting with music and still sees her as a big sister.

In other news, Ghanaian actress and Instagram model, Moesha Boduong, has explained the circumstances leading to her recent controversial 'braless' photos, which caused a frenzy on social media.

Moesha recently posted some photos on social media. In two of the photos, she was spotted wearing a black bra while in the other two photos she had the bra removed, exposing parts of her cleavage.

This led to a lot of social media backlash with many suggesting that she did so intentionally.

But in a video YEN.com.gh shared earlier, Moesha stated that she had to remove the bra because she was feeling uncomfortable.
