Shatta Wale has taken swipes at Stonebwoy and Sarkodie in a morning show interview at Joy FM on Friday suggesting they are young ones who need to respect him.
The artiste was a special guest on the popular Super Morning Show. Among other things, he was asked about his relationships with artistes of whom he has constantly been critical, in the past and currently.
For many observers of the entertainment scene, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie seem like the current subjects of Shatta Wale's anger.
And so speaking on the matter, Shatta Wale said in the interview monitored by YEN.com.gh: "When I came out, Sarkodie and Stonebwoyb were in school. They for respect me! "Bandana from Ghana!"
He was particularly critical of Sarkodie whom he described as "hypocritical". He also demanded that respect be given to him (Shatta Wale).
Shatta Wale called for top musicians to stop "leading people astray". He asked for what he feels is the best possible path for musicians to take in uplifting their art and their business.
On other matters, the musician said he and partner Michy, are planning to get married in 2019. Shatta Wale however failed to reveal the exact date for the much-anticipated wedding.
Five months ago, news went viral that the two love birds ended their romantic relationship in an acrimonious split.
But on the night of the launch of his third studio album, Shatta Wale proposed marriage to Michy on stage.
