Shatta Wale, Shatta Michy wedding to come off early 2019

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Ghana's music power couple, Shatta Wale and Shatta Michy could be wedded in about two months.

Shatta Wale has revealed that plans are far advanced for them to get wed in early next year, possibly in January.

Shatta Wale made the disclosure while speaking in a radio interview on Friday.

After being together for close to a decade, Shatta Wal proposed to Michy during his ‘Reign’ album launch about two weeks ago.

While the proposal made their fans very happy, there were many observers who thought it was all part of the efforts to hype Shatta Wale's album.

But speaking in an interview on Joy FM's Super Morning Show, Shatta Wale debunked those claims revealing that they had already started preparations and it will not be too long.

He, however, failed to mention a specific date for the wedding which is expected to be a grand occasion considering the couple's fan base and the intention not to exclude them from the celebration.

Shatta Michy is on record to have hinted that fans will be part of their wedding if it finally comes off.

According to the “Cheating” singer, though she would want her wedding to be very simple, their circumstances and fan base will not permit that.

"I’m quite simple. Left to me alone, it would be a four-man wedding. Just me, him and our parents.

“But circumstance cannot allow us. We can’t leave our fans out. We can’t leave people out,” she stated in an interview on Zylofon FM after their successful concert.
