Juventus plotting a £70m January transfer move for want-away Man United star Pogba

- Serie A giants Juve want re-sign Paul Pogba from Man United in January

- He was part of the Red Devils squad that lost 1-0 to the Old Lady in the UCL during the week

- His present deal with the Old Trafford side expires in the summer of 2021

Italian League champions Juventus are reportedly planning a surprise winter transfer move Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

The 25-year-old staged a return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2016 after signing a five year deal worth £94.50 million with the Red Devils.

He inspired his side to win the Europa League title at the end of his first season at the club to justify his mega move two years back.

After helping United to a double at the end of the 2016-17 season, he has had series of fall outs with his manager over lack of commitment and poor performances.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup was also close to joining Barcelona this summer owing to the various bust ups he's had with Jose Mourinho.

And this has put Juve on alert as they are hoping they can reunite with their former star when the January transfer window opens in about two months from now.

SunSPort quoting Tuttosport claim the Allainz Arena outfit are set to do all they can to land the midfieder on loan for six months, with an obligation to buy for around £70million in the summer

Juve dropped their first point in the Serie A last weekend after playing 1-1 with Genoa in front of their fans.

They returned to winning ways with a slim victory over Man United to maintain their 100% start to the Champions League.

However, the summer signing of Cristiano Ronaldo has positioned them as one of the top teams to contend for this year's UCL title.

The will be hoping they can win their first title on the continent since 1996 and will be hoping World Cup winner Pogba can help them to European glory.

UEFA have abolished the 'cup tied' rule meaning he would be able to play for them in the tournament.

Legit.ng previously reported that Manchester United have agreed to sell 2018 World Cup winning star Paul Pogba in the January transfer window.

The France international was rested for his side's disappointing defeat to lower league side Derby County at Old Trafford on Tuesday, September 25.

United slammed £200 million price tag on the former Juventus star with his relationship with Jose Mourinho deteriorating everyday.
