- Caroline further said she is willing to campaign for the NDC in the next election
Popular radio, TV and event host, Caroline Sampson, has said she has regretted ever voting for the NPP government in the 2016 elections.
The eloquent female presenter added that she would rate President Akufo-Addo and his government’s performance at 2 out 100, indicating how poor the president is performing in her estimation.
“I am mad, I am just so mad, 2/100," Caroline responded to the question of how she will rate the Akuffo-Addo led government in an interview with Zionfelix.com.
The radio and TV presenter stated that expectations were very high when Ghanaians handed the baton of leadership Akuffo-Addo after they booted out former President Mahama’s government.
However, the president and his government have not met these expectations after they made a lot of promises to the people of Ghana.
“We have not seen anything. I regret voting the NPP because of all the promises they made which have totally failed to see the light of day,” Caroling lamented.
Revealing why she voted for Akufo-Addo, the TV and radio show host said it was because she felt the former president Mahama was not ready to continue as president since he became a president because of the death of late John Mills.
“I voted Mahama out because I felt he was not ready. I felt he need to go and prepare and come back stronger,” Caroline explained.
She further urged the current NPP government to do away with the ‘we need time’ pronouncements and do more as they have raised expectations of many Ghanaians so high.
She went on further to state that she will be willing to campaign for particular the NDC in the next election if they offer her a great deal.
This November, Caroline Sampson, also a mother of three will mark 13 years on Radio and TV.
She has worked with Citi FM, YFM, just to mention a few.
