Most privileged people from countries all over the world sometimes like to deliver their children in developed countries such as America so that they can become citizens and be afforded opportunities that come with it.
Several Nigerian entertainers have also been known to give birth to their children abroad for this reason.
Some celebrities such as Tiwa Savage, Linda Ikeji, Tonto Dikeh, Lilian Esoro, Lami Phillips, Bimbo Thomas, Amanda Ebeye, to name a few all gave birth to their kids in America.
However, the numbers of people who go to America to give birth might soon reduce drastically owing to the fact that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, has vowed to stop citizenship being granted to children of immigrants born in the country.

Birthright citizenship in America comes from the citizenship clause in the 14th amendment of the country’s constitution, and it states that: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside."
Despite that, in an interview with Axios, Trump revealed that birthright citizenship would soon come to an end.
He said: "We're the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits, it's ridiculous. It's ridiculous. And it has to end."
He further explained that he would put an end to it with an executive order.
"It's in the process. It'll happen with an executive order,” Trump said.
"It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don't," "You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they're saying I can do it just with an executive order."
In other news, Legit.ng reported that Chief Edwin Clark, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s chieftain, has berated the President of the United States, Donald Trump, over his recent comment on his African counterpart, President Muhamadu Buhari.
Recall that the Nigerian president was described 'lifeless' by president Trump. The south-south leader, reacting to the statement while speaking with Vanguard newspaper, scolded the US president.
