President Nana Akufo-Addo is making his presence felt in the ongoing G-20 Compact with Africa in Germany.
Under the Compact, Ghana and Germany have entered into a 100 million euros bilateral Investment and Reform Partnership agreement to aid in investments, renewable energy and vocational training.
While in Germany, Akufo-Addo met with execs at Volkswagen and Siemens and discussed possible business set-ups between Ghana and the German companies.
Akufo-Addo also met and with German Chancellor, Angela Merkel to discuss about the future relationship of the two countries.
He commended Angela Merkel‘s decision to re-orient Germany's policy and relationship with Ghana, and with Africa, from one based on aid.
Akufo-Addo will also tour Europe with the aim of strengthening foreign tie between Ghana and other countries.
