Kuami Eugene explains why he is dressing fashionably now

Lynx Entertainment recording artiste, Kuami Eugene has explained that he can now afford to wear the fashion people have for over a year given him flack for not wearing.

YEN.com.gh has previously reported on how the artiste posted a photo of himself on his Instagram handle but his attire did not go down well with his followers on the platform.

The attire looked like a protective clothing against the cold weather, but social media users believed Kuami Eugene dressed poorly. And this was not an isolated moment in the artiste's very young career.

But AmeyawDebrah.com reports that in an interview on JoyNews, Eugene explained he could not afford to live out of his means, hence his choice of wardrobe in the past.

He is quoted as saying: "When Richie Mensah signed me, you don’t expect a boy who just came from Fadama with no money to be buying Louis Vuitton, Gucci...things that you think a celebrity should be wearing”.

Eugene, whose "Confession" has been a hit for about a year, has been the subject of mockery on social media. From "villager" to "immature", the artiste has seen all the names in the book thrown at him.

He continued in the interview: "Now I am making small money and I can afford things that I like."
