The chief executive officer of embattled gold dealership firm Menzgold Ghana Limited, Nana Appiah Mensah, is set to address the public on radio for the first time following the firm's issues with Bank of Ghana and Securities and Exchange Commission.
The businessman took to his Instagram account and announced that he was going to be live on air on Monday, November 5, 2018 to speak on issues related to Menzgold.
His post read, "I would be addressing the public on Menzgold and other related matters on Zylofon fm, 102.1 on Monday, "Time with Menzgold " between 11am & 12noon. Kindly tune in. Menzgold is here to stay."

This action follows reports captured by YEN.com.gh that the deputy finance minister, Charles Adu Boahen, who indicated that Menzgold Ghana Limited could soon be out of business for good.
NAM 1, however took to his Twitter account to react to the the message that was sent across by the government official, with the words, “Menzgold is NOT a financial institution. Menzgold is a vibrant promising African brand, that is here to stay. Menzgold is law abiding. Great is thy faithfulness, O! God. Hail! Menzgold #Floreat! Menzgold.”
Menzgold has been in the news in recent months following disagreements with the Bank of Ghana (BoG) regarding its operations.
Not long after that, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ordered the company to shut down its gold trading activities.

Subsequently, the company halted its collectibles and all other new businesses related to its gold vault market.
This, however, led to some customers of the firm besieging the various offices of Menzgold to demand a return of their investments.
Ever since the issue came up, there has been quite a number of press conferences but none saw the presence of Nana Appiah Mensah.
Some aggrieved customers of the gold dealership firm took to social media to lament the deafening silence of the company's CEO despite their monies being locked up.
In one such video that went viral, a peeved Menzgold customer was seen bemoaning the rate at which NAM 1 had taken to social media to address their issues when they did not send their money to him through the same medium.
