Popular Ghanaian journalist, Mabel Aku Baneseh, has mocked the Director-General of the Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA), Kwame Owusu, over the controversy that has sparked as a result of his use of air conditioners in his Cantonments home.
This followed allegations of financial malfeasance with regard to the use of GHc10,000 on lunch for staff.
The amount was reported to have been spent on eight people, but Owusu later revealed that those present at the launch were 17 in number.
In another development, Owusu allegedly used an amount of GHC135,000 at an end of year party at his hotel, the Luxe Suites Hotel.
The latest controversy, concerning the alleged use of 11 air conditioners in his come has sparked a debate amongst a cross-section of Ghanaians.
Owusu however reportedly defended his use of the air conditioners, saying that there is nothing wrong with it.
