Kumawood star, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as "Lil Win" has been honoured for his outstanding service for the country.

The actor was honoured during the maiden edition of the National Private School Awards.

The awards ceremony came off over the weekend at the Golden Tulip hotel in Kumasi.

Lil Win, the founder of Great Minds International School was given the Most Promising Proprietor of The Year.

The Kumasi-based actor received the prestigious award for his outstanding service for the country.

According to Mr. Enoch Kwasi Gyetuah, National Executive Director of Ghana National Council of Private School, the awards scheme remained a significant step in recognizing

He said, it was an honour to celebrate Educational Personalities who are helping to the growth of education in the country.

However, the National Best Proprietor of the Year Aeard was given to the Director for Manner International School, Mr. Micheal Mensah, while National Best Private School of the Year went to Potters International School.

Lil Win was in the news recently after he was enstooled as the Nkosuohene of Duaponko in the Ashanti Region.

Lilwin became the obvious choice to be honoured by the Chief of the Town, Nana Akwesi Gyabaa, for his massive impact on the lives of the people across the region.
