Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey, known in the world of show business as Captain Planet, has broken hearts on social media with a photo of him crying following the death of his dog.
The 'Obi Agte Obi Girl' singer took to his Instagram account to mourn the death of his foreign dog, Miles and went on to eulogize the pet he claimed was his best friend.
Excerpts of his post read, "I couldn’t have asked for a better friend . You were my faithful & grateful companion until the end .There is an empty space where you used to lay & i’m not sure this pain will go away ."
"We ve been going to the vets everyday for the past 3 weeks taking injections here & there, i was even advised to put you to sleep bcus you were suffering but i said a big “No” & never gave up on you miles knowing that u were gonna get better," the post continued.
The musician went on to share some photos of his dog with his family members during their happy times when it was alive which proved how loved the pet was.
One of the photos showed the pet being cuddled by the singer's wife, Uche Ofodile, who was beaming with smiles.

nadygh, who had also experienced the pain related to the loss of a pet wrote, "I can relate, sorry!"
Another fan of the singer, lutax_1 commented, "God knows best".
nazzofficial, came out to narrate how he lost some of his pets and also commiserated with the singer with the words, "Some people won’t understand u at all ! But I do ...cos I lost about 4 of my poodles leaving 1 and the mom. They were about 3-4 months old. It was such a painful time for me and I couldn’t sleep at all. The painful part was watching them die one by one. Especially the forth one that died went through lots of pains and vomiting everytime. I was always at the Vets almost everyday .... I got so attached to them and when they left I felt a part of me missing Take heart bro. I understand your pain"

savage_money_leo, another fan of Captain Planet recounted how the late dog used to play with his pet monkey, "Sorry for the loss boss, Miles I'm already missing u boi, i miss u chasing n scaring my monkey. Rest In Peace Miles."
targeetargee, however expressed his surprise at how one can eulogize a pet with such a touching farewell letter, "I never see man wey write soso love letter for dog like this B4 ohh omg Awurade b3gye steer no."
Captain Planet made waves in Ghana after he released his song, Obi Agye Obi Girl". Many Ghanaians latched unto the song and were seen in self-recorded videos jamming to the song.
Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan was one of the celebrities seen in a viral video dancing to the song as he cruised in one of his cars.
