The father of late musician Ebony Reign, Opoku Kwarteng, who has earned the name ‘Starboy’ Kwarteng in the media circles, has announced that he is unveiling the new Ebony Reigns soon.
Speaking in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Starboy Kwarteng revealed that the new Ohemaa was almost here and it is going to be a “blow”.
He added that he was working with music trio Praye to ensure that the coming of the new Ohemaa into the music industry would be spectacular.
“I am bringing the new Ohemaa; I am working with my sons Praye and some friends and love ones to ensure that the new Ohemaa will be a blow,” Ebony’s father said in the Twi language.
This follows his earlier comments that nobody in the music industry can replace his late daughter, as earlier published by YEN.com.gh.
In that report, Starboy was said to have coaching his own daughter, Happy Opoku Kwarteng, Ebony’s big sister, to take over from her she left off.
We, however, cannot verify is this new Ohemaa being talked about is Happy or another person.
Kwarteng had also said on many occasions that Wendy Shay cannot replace his daughter as has been preached by Bullet, her manager.
Ebony’s father, since her death, has made many allegations against Bullet, accusing him of stealing Ebony’s money and also the money generated from her funeral.
He also accused Bullet of abusing his daughter when she was alive, and also having a hand in her death.
Meanwhile, Bullet, in a response to Starboy Kwarteng’s claim said he was “full of greed”.
