Starting Monday, November 12, 2018, sachet water bags known in our local parlance as 'pure water' would see a 50% rise in price.
According to the National Director of Corporate Affairs, Kwame Agyapon Ntra explained the increment was due to the rising cost of production and distribution within the industry.
A bag of sachet water which is currently being sold at GHC3.50p, would be sold at GHC4.50p starting on Monday, November 12 from all trucks and water depots.
