3 factors that show that Kwesi Nyantakyi's wife is a good wife

The wife of former Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Mrs Christine-Marie Nyantakyi, has opened up on matters behind-the-scenes about the fall of her husband Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas' famous Number 12 documentary spelled the doom of the GFA boss who has since been banned for life from football by the game's world governing body, FIFA.

Nyantakyi has been left disgraced but he has been in the law courts looking to save face by pursuing a case against his chief accuser Anas.

But in all of this drama, the recent decision of Mrs Nyantakyi to go on TV and bare it all seems to have won the hearts of a few. For some people, the woman's action is supposed to represent what good wives do.

YEN.com.gh brings you a list of four things convincing a few Ghanaians to believe Christine-Marie is in the least, a good supporting wife.

1. She is doing damage control

On TV, Mrs Nyantakyi alleged that her husband's actions were motivated by spiritual factors. Whether or not this would be believed by Ghanaians is not the point.

What matters is that you have a better half trying to give an excuse in front of the whole nationon behalf of her husband. Many men would like that.

2. She stayed after a second wife

In a high-profile ceremony some months ago, Kwesi Nyantakyi took on a second wife. She is a much younger woman compared to his wife.

It came as a surprise to many but Christine-Marie stayed on as the first wife. Of course, this was a personal decision but Mrs Nyantakyi is one of very few that would stand for their husband's extra commitments.

3. Still standing with him

The fracas in which Kwesi Nyantakyi found himself would have probably driven friends and even some family. A wife who may feel she was sharing her husband with another could have also left.

But Christine-Marie Nyantakyi is still legally married to her husband and is promising that she will stand by him through it all.
