Two feared dead as Dagombas and Kokombas clash over a pig

- Two people have reportedly lost their lives after a clash over a pig turned violent

- This occurred after a pig belonging to a Kokomba destroyed crops on a farm belonging to a Dagomba

- An attempt to retrieve a gun from the Dagomba resulted in gunshot, resulting in an injury

Two people have reportedly lost their lives after a pig belonging to a Kokomba strayed into a farm belonging to a Dagomba and damaged crops.

YEN.com.gh understands that several houses in the Nakpachie community in the Yendi municipality of the Northern Region were burnt in the process.

Preliminary report from the Northern Regional Police Headquarters indicates another person also suffered a gunshot wound.

The clash reportedly started after the unknown Dagomba man shot and killed the pig which entered his farm.

The animal, belonging to a Kokomba, destroyed farm produce, and an attempt to retrieve the gun from the Dagomba resulted in a gunshot, injuring him in the process.
